Welcome to Academy

Dear Readers,
As you may have well noticed, this blog has gone unwritten for quite some time now. Work and school had taken over most of my time and as such I was not able to release content here in a manner befitting the content discussed herein.
In the next couple of weeks, this blog will undergo a transition to change it back into an active blog, all the while maintaining previous postings in the blog's archive. There may be a name change, and there will certainly be a design change to reflect a less sophomoric aesthetic standard.
I urge you all to be patient as I upgrade this site, you will see its changes as they happen.

Academy is a blog about all things political and philosophical. These days the two appear to be rather far apart, but there was a time when politics and philosophy did more than just mingle with one another. It is the aim of this blog to try to establish that sense of political philosophy as not only an important cause within itself, but also to have it engage  honestly and wholeheartedly its responsibility to the rest of society. The topics presented will vary from the national to the international, the left to the right, the old and the new in order to regain the search for objectivity that is lost in today's world of ever-expanding and superficial transfers of information. However in order to achieve the aforementioned objectivity, I invite if not urge readers to say their own; after all that is what Academies historically have been about.
